Proper lubricant for film advance lever mechanism Grease or oil? And before you say look at a service manual it's a tenax ii. Can't even find instruction manual in English let alone a service manual. 🙂

Oil has this habit of creeping over time , feels good at the beginning though .

The old adage goes: if it rotates, oil it. If it slides, grease it.

I've used a very small amount of Synthetic Oil advertised as being for cameras on gears in the film advance chain and some other places. Very small amounts did the trick.
