GT lens shade?

Anyone know of a metal lens shade that will fit a yashica GT?

Standard one from heavystar (50mm ??) vignettes.
Original 57mm slip-on Yashica hood is prohibitively expensive (usually).

I've attached metal hood from Konica Auto S2 🙂

Thanks, was wondering if there was one specific to the GT. Not sure i wanna shell out for a hood 🙂

I do have a metal hood that works but had to use black gaffers tape to secure it on. Gonna give it a try and see if it vignettes.

Yashica AFAIK offered two kinds of hoods - rubber cone shaped (slip-on type) and straight metal slip-on. Both are black so both fit GT. I'm not aware if GT model had special hood.

I'm pretty sure any 57mm slip-on hood for standard focal length lens would work. I have 54mm slip-on metal hood for Petri, which fits Petri 7s and Lynx 5000 and....hm, some other camera with 52mm filter thread 🙂

I have a metal 55mm screw on hood on my GSN that seems to work fine although you can see a bit of the hood in the view finder. It is marked" universal 55mm metal lens hood" clever name.

You could always use an old Olympus shade....

The rubber one does the same thing. It's really not a big deal, at least to me. I can frame a picture OK with a little of the view missing...
