Art,
I'm sorry to say that the Fuji GW670 cameras were only designed for a maximum lifespan of 481 rolls of film. You have one roll left.
Then, the camera will physically disintegrate in your hands. The small parts will roll under the furniture and refuse to come out, except for the parts that will tease your pets.
Your hair will fall out and you will develop halitosis.
It's a very bad thing indeed.
You'd better send the camera to me.
I can spare you from this horrible fate.
Please?
Best Regards,
Bill Mattocks
PS - Just kidding. It's a great camera - one of the best ever, IMHO. I have the G690 - older and heavier, has interchangable lenses. The glass on these cameras is nothing short of amazing - truly amazing. Get a flatbed scanner like the Epson PHOTO Perfection with the 4x5 light adapter (has a mask for 6x9) and have yourself a ball. Absolute bliss.
As to repairs, mine actually is in need of repair itself (don't worry, I suspect mine has been used much more than yours). I will probably be sending mine to Essex camera (on the web, sorry I can't look it up at work right now). I have heard they're good - but don't know from experience.
