Bear with me as this is my first posting on the RFF.
Are you sure you need a new lens? I've just bought a new lens mount
($199.00) and have sent it away to have it converted for Infra red work, hopefully will add a new dimension to all current lenses.

A new M-mount for $199? Amazing - tell us more: Are there any more at this price, and where did you send it for IR conversion?
Pretty please?

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the Zeiss C Sonnar 50mm f1.5. It's a compact 50 with a wonderful signature, and it's so good on the GXR, it should be a module in itself.

I would second the CV 15. Plus I really like the CV 25/4 M-mount as a 35-ish lens on the M-Mount.

+1 or 2 for a 50 1.5 C Sonnar on the GXR.
Also check out fast Pen F lenses--they're small and often less spendy than CV equivalents e.g. the 40 1.4.

My most used lens on my GXR-M is a Jupiter 3 / Sonnar clone 50mm 1.5. Wonderful lens and small, I have a Summilux but like the less weight with the Jupiter 3.
