I really loved the series! Makes me sad to see things abandoned: strikes close to home. Very apt shooting with the Fuji packs. I saw those Fuji film packs in Calumet, London but I was confused as to what they were for.

There was a trailer park neighbourhood near where I live. They were all evicted in the name of progress (money!). The land has been empty since.

Very nice series, Mark, you are really using those Fuji Instant colors nicely! The particular camera you have, the 360, is a little notorious for being hard to pull because it has the timer in the back. The Fuji instant film packs are a shade thicker than the original Polaroid packs, so they have extra pressure on them from the camera back, and the timer just makes it worse. We sell many refurbished Polaroid cameras in our shop, and we always remove the timer on the 360s because of this problem. This is not a hard modification you can do yourself. There is also a spring on the back that you should remove too.
To make life easier with the camera, make sure to thoroughly clean the rollers after every pack. Sometimes gunk can build up under the film door as well, so get in the with a Q-tip and some water and keep everything really clean. When people bring their cameras in who are having trouble with pictures jamming in the rollers, they invariably have very dirty rollers and film door.
You noted that the film got easier to pull as you got deeper into the pack, which is because having fewer shots in the pack puts less pressure on it. You can make it easier to pull the first few shots by opening the back slightly before you pull the white tab. If you do this for the first two or three shots, then the rest will be easy.

Thanks Vince! Planning on shooting some b&w in the camera tomorrow! I'll try some of your tricks!

I have the 250, very similar to the 360. Lacking only the timer. I too would remive the timer, Fuji films don't need them - they self exterminate. I also push back the springs hard every time I load a pack. Some recommend removing them altogether. Once you have the pressure issues solved the Fuji films work a charm.
Like the series a lot. Not least due to the lovely tones you got. FP100C can be very tricky if underexposed. Good luck.

Great series. The Fuji colors really suit the subject well. Compositions are splendid. Thanks for posting them, and Happy New Year to you too.

Hi Mark! Good to see you here.
Great series! I like how the Polaroid sees with your subjects. Very tactile feel.

Nice project you have there. Very well exposed too. I wrote an Instructable a while ago about the Fujifilm jam issue that may help you. http://www.instructables.com/id/Polaroid-Land-Camera-Fujifilm-and-Battery-Mod/

Excellent series - the colours match the subject very well. Also like your website and blog - simple and interesting.

So nice, there is something very different about FP100c. Does the 360 have a timer on the back? I read that will press on Fuji pack film making the first prints difficult to remove.

I concur with other friends here, it is an interesting series with beautiful colors. Now I desire to clean my old (originally my father's) 340 and shoot some film, I have a few pack of 3000 B anywhere...

Thanks all for your compliments and suggestions! Thanks for looking!
My girlfriend just bought us some of the 3000B so I'll hopefully be posting some new B&W images shortly! Haven't shot any real B&W since my Nikon film scanner broke!
