Hi,
No custom fees on 35mm RF equipment, under $2000?, but it's important to tell the sender to write down the following info. on the customs form: #XXXX.XX.XX (item camera/lens for XX photographic cameras, duty free).
Take a look at the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), for the appropriate camera and lens tariff numbers (New LF,MF SLR, MF RF, 35mm SLR, 35mm DSLR, 35mm RF, LF lens, MF lens, 35mm AF lens, 35mm RF lens, ... )
Regards,
Robert

I have been told that optical equipment (and it appears cameras fall in this category) incur no customs fees coming into the US. This is supposed to be verifiable through the US Postal service.
Has anyone on RFF ever paid customs on a camera shipped internationally into the US?

Bought from them once, seems reliable and expensive.
