Hassleblad Mirrorless!

This monstrosity has to win the wooden spoon - worst camera of the show.

I'm now so embarassed of Hasselblad, I'm going to have to tape over the name tag on my V series cameras before going out in public.

so actually hasselblad stands for rebadging camera's...
H-series=made by Fuji
Lunar=made by Sony (the Hasselnex;-)

The new Leica M has left me in two minds, I am reserving judgement beyond my initial impressions, for real world reports.

This Hasselblad monstrosity is a different case altogether. It's a Nex camera with bling of the worst calibre. Sad day for company which produced the simplicity of design of the V series.

You know whats infuriating and funny at the same time, this monstrosity has the same propriety NEX-7 hot shoe! lol

How desperate hassleblad must be that they have taken an almost 2-yr old midrange Sony mirrorless, and are trying to pass it on as an "original Italian-design luxury mirrorless"...

The true winner here is Sony.

This is funny! Other than being incredibly hideous, it's also crytal clear that this is, in essence, a Sony Nex-7. Which, of course, means that their upcoming DSLRs will also just be Alpha's in an ugly design.

....i was so excited until i read this. i don't even mind the design, it's the fact that their master plan is so overly reliant on Sony that all if it will basically be Sony in Hasselblad clothing.

i am so disappointed....

the focus here seems to be on aesthetics, which is at best a subjective topic. what is so strikingly sad about this is the objective fact that all theyve done is put jewelry on an nex7! it appears that hasselblads entire contribution to this excercise is putting lipstick on sony's pig and pricing that pig as if it were kobe beef! THAT is truly sad...i had expected much much better from this company.

Wow.

They should really be just making a new X-pan with the same body/lenses and a similar 35mm format rangefinder style body based on the x-pan. They could still use sony sensors and EVF's.
This thing they've announced is a... monstrosity.

edit: the more I look at this thing the less I can fathom that a reputable and historic company like hasselblad can put their name to a sony camera, make it uglier, and charge 7 times the price for it. I literally cannot fathom.

That camera looks like a dashboard collision between a 1950 Buick Roadmaster and a 1977 Jaguar MK2.

If this monstrosity was an original design one could still forgive them, but reshaping an already out of cycle camera that costs 1:6th -- that is just shameless.

it's the fact that their master plan is so overly reliant on Sony that all if it will basically be Sony in Hasselblad clothing.

Well, what did you expect? Going by their pro segment partner, I really expected a X1pro in Hasselblad clothing. But hardly anything original - they haven't ever introduced a camera of their own outside the V-series, both the H-series and Xpan are Fuji...

The funniest thing about it is that this design actually looks bigger and bulkier than the Nex 7. Of course we all know that the one thing people dislike about the Nex 7 is that it's too small :D
