Went to the Vivian Maier exhibit at the Minneapolis Photo Center (www.mplsphotocenter.com) today. Great exhibit, and they even have prints for sale for the paltry sum of $2,800.
Very nice exhibit with a lot of prints to view.

$2800.00 really.
There was a price list conspicuously left on a small table... $2800 was the low end - some were $4500.
The prints were beautiful, but obviously not printed by the photographer

Interesting that the prices varied, I wonder how they decided that one was $700 better than that other. Really I wonder who?

Oh, neato. I'll have to check it out if I head south before the end of the month.

also a show at the Chicago History Museum, my estimate would be only about 30 to 40 prints but they are printed really large, about 4ft by 4ft if I remember right. And something else that I found very interesting, they had a strip running around the outside wall made up 5"x 5" prints showing all 12 exposures from about eight rolls
