I avoid all aluminum adapters due to inevitable galling between two dissimilar metals. I spent a little more and bought Heliopan steel adapters. Aluminum shades are better due to more surface area to grab for removal, but don't screw them on tight!

Copper is a rather soft metal for making lens adapters.
I use a 35 heavystar adapter. It brings up the correct lines, however it is NOT made of copper with chrome. It is indeed aluminum. That said, it was cheap, arrived quickly and works fine.
