Hello, just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Dave from Southampton, England.
I just ordered a Yashica 35 GSN which is currently winging it's way from Pakistan (I hope!).
I've never used a rangeinder before as I only go into photography last year with a Nikon D80. I want to give film a try and have heard great things abut Yashica so here I am!

Welcome!
Congrats on the GSN, (be carefull though - rangefinder cameras tend to multiply by themselves somehow)
If you have any problems with the GSN - post here first, or you can send it to this guy http://www.markhama.com/
Cheers,

Thanks Meakin.
Yes I know what you mean about multiplying - I'm already looking at getting a Minster III and I haven't even held a Yashica yet! - they just seem to have this certain mystic about them - good quality and different I suppose - and lovely to look at.

My habit started with the GSN, as well. On the shelf across the room I'm now facing a Minister D, a Kodak Signet 35, a nifty little Realist 35, and I've recently dug up my old Polaroid RF & been snapping away with Fuji 100C. Time and money . . . (thankfully not much of the latter, however).
I'll second the Mark Hama recommendation.

Welcome, I myself am quite a new user and has just developed my first rolls from Minister D and EE, and thinking about buying a Electro 35 GT. Not to mention a lot of SLR-things I own. Yashica can become an addiction perhaps
