Hi, this is my first post! 😀
I've just bought some FSU cameras and lenses on ebay:
-zorki 1 + industar 22
-fed2 + industar 26m
-jupiter 12

Now i'm waiting for small packets in the mail...
I'll keep you updated 😉

The finder made for a Kiev has the body of the finder located to the right of the accessory shoe, as seen from the rear. This is as Zeiss made the original. The body of this finder, however, blocks the shutter speed dial of a Leica or Leica copy (Fed, Zorki). So the Russians made a mirror-image copy of the finder, with the body located to the left of the shoe. This is actually better for a Kiev/Contax also, since it doesn't block the meter dial. It does, however, block the rewind knob a bit on the Kiev.

Thanks for the info!

Hello, I,m using aHelios Brightline Finder on my Kiev4A, you can get them from Mr Cad Photograhic in England they have recently been on Ebay for £8 plus £2 postage. Mr Cads London Phone Number is 020 8684 8282 ( you'll need the international prefix too) hope this helps.

I've uploaded some pics in this gallery:

Ok, there are some problems:
-film transport (pic #000)
-rangefinder calibration (pic #004, out of focus)
-shutter (speeds below 1/40 don't work correctly: shutter open, same as Z)

In the next days i'll try to solve focusing problems and then shoot another roll of film...

Hopefully it's not my eyes but the focus looks poor on all those shots, the RF must be a fair bit out. It's an easy task to calibrate it but a bit tedious; Jay's site shows you how it's done. If you want to use longer lenses like an 85mm you definitely need to calibrate the RF.

Shutter sticking at slower speeds is a sure sign the camera needs a CLA...
