Looking around for information about photography I did find these source and, thank's a lot, because of you I got a new disease 😀 .

Let's start at the beginning: I started with digital photography about 3 years ago because I wanted some visual reminders from my travels. My first experiment with analog I got with a Horizon 202, that's when I did think about getting "oldfashioned".....
So, searching for a camera to take with me every day, I heard the first time about Rangefinders and informed myself at this place. I should really have known better, because when I could lay my hands on a Bessa R for testing my resistance was already broken.

End of the story, this week I will get mine together with some Jupiters and it seems like such a long time :bang:

John

Hey John ~ welcome to RFF. Good choice on the R. I haven't owned one, but there's lots of good reports here about them. You're off to a good start. Shoot away and have fun... dive in to any thread and ask questions. You'll find we're all living and learning!

I think that is exactly the same story as nearly everybody else here 🙂
I still havn't bought a proper rangefinder yet though myself :-(
But welcome to the forum. It's good to have another German speaker to test my weekly lessons out on 🙂

Thanks,
James

John, glad to meet you! I hope you'll enjoy the Bessa R as well as I like mine. In my case, I had the disease before I found this amazing resource! I think of RFF as the "isolation ward".
I currently use the Jupiter 8 and the Jupiter 9 lenses with the Bessa and like that set up quite a bit.
Happy New Year!
Rob
