Hi all, I'm a RFF lurker, and have a question to send out into the ether...
Today I bought a Canon IIB with Serenar 50/1.8 off of Craigslist. The camera is in pretty good shape cosmetically, as is the lens, but there are at least three things wrong with the camera:
1. Shutter curtain is torn
2. Small dent right above the viewfinder
3. Lens has some fungus (doesn't seem to be too bad, but it's bad enough)
I know nothing about these cameras--I don't even know how to cock the shutter! My experience with rangefinders is pretty limited, I've only owned fixed lens rangefinders from the 60s and 70s.
Can anyone recommend a good repair shop for this camera? Thanks in advance!
