When I try to upload, I just get a message that I have exceeded my daily upload limit, although I haven't uploaded since anything since before The Great Breakdown before Christmas.

I've tried deleting some images to make room, because I'm getting near the 60 MB upload limit, but it doesn't help.

The upload page also says that I have five images in my queue. What does that mean? Is this blocking my new uploads? Where is the queue and how do I access it.

Admin hasn't responded to my email. Is there anybody else who can help? It would be greatly appreciated.

Peter, not sure if I can help, but sometimes I find the upload process doesn't work as I intended and I get that message. I get the feeling it happens if I get logged out of RFF while half way through the upload process. I don't have any hard evidence to support this theory.
What I've done to solve the problem is to go to the upload page and then look for the check box that says something like "skip these images and upload images already in the upload folder" (or something like that - I'm going from memory). Then continue with the upload, even though there are no actual images on the upload page.
This seems to clear the problem for me.
Kind regards,

The email system apparently is still not working, it hasn't for years. PM is the best way to contact Stephen and Jorge with technical issues (user names Cameraquest and MP Guy).

I will bring your problem to their attention.

Last night had problems changing my avatar - deleted the old one and then got a distorted image when in sheer desperation I tried to reload it. Just about to give up but tried uploading the new avatar just once more when it installed with no issues - all very odd.

I'm having the same problem. Admin needs to provide a way or a service to let us purge the uploads and reset to zero.

Kind regards,

Lynn, Thanks I tried that but it doesn't help.

I will have the tech guy take a look at your account.

He will have to reset your password to see what you see,
then it can be reset as you like.

Same happened to me again today and not for the first time tho'. Sometimes is really annoying when you want to be part of the gallery not to have access to it. Ah well :)

I just simply not going to upload pictures anymore here. Hope your upload will get fixed.

I always had trouble uploading to the gallery before the Thanksgiving Day Massacre, but have had no trouble since RFF went with the new host.

Before, sometimes I was able to upload by doing as Lynn suggested. Sometimes I could get it to work by changing browsers, and sometimes by deleting cookies, but there came a time when nothing worked and I just gave up and didn't upload anything for over a year. Instead, I just posted images from my Flickr account to some of the threads I participated in.

I know it's frustrating for you and I hope you get some kind of solution from the admins.

Just use flickr...

I still can't upload as well

I might remove my photos from the gallery - what's the point of having old pictures here without option to upload new? :(

Hope you get fixed Peter.

What problems are you guys having? In gallery or in posting on threads? I spent an hour last night trying to help Paulbe load to the SE forum but when he pastes the URL from flickr, it only gets brackets and shows the link but not the image...

Stephen,

I have sent 3 emails to the "Contact" about this issue...so far no response and I am still unable to upload.

Best regards,

Bob
