Hi all. I dug into apile of Pentax screw mount gear I bought last year looking for a wide angle lens that I remembered was included, in response to Apostata's WTB post. I found it but soon discovered that it was not a screw mount lens at all. Can anyone tell by the picture what mount this lens has? It is a 28mm f2.8 Astranar. It has 2 aperture rings as it is a pre-set lens.

Thanks, Ray! I don't own an Exacta camera, so this lens is for sale. It is in perfect shape including the glass, except for the wear you see on the bayonette mount lugs. $50us? Please PM me if the price is off, as I have no idea on this.

The Astranar lenses were usually "T-Mount" lenses. The lens mount should come off and anaother go into ots place. Exacta T-Mount's are fairly rare, and would allow the use of a lot of lenses on the camera. You might want to check it. Also look for "ex" or "Exacta" on the inside of the mount if it is a T-Adapter once it comes off. The T-Mount uses a 42mm thread with a different pitch from the Pentax M42 mount..

Brian, you are correct. There is an adapter on the back of the lens that unscrewed. It only says Japan though, no indication of mount.

Still for sale.
