WELL SUZY i AM QUITE HAPPY to Go there Replace your "faulty Leica m8 + 50/1.0 lens" to my super modern compact compact "AutoFocus" digital camera which is far more sophisticated than your non working M8!!! I am in Australia, but happy to fly over there this weekend and do the swap. Please let me know if you are interested.Thanks

Fast autofocus, great zooms to catch moments of dog's activity. Don't even think to trade it the guys here for a manual weird Nikon or Canon.
I have never seen any dog being pictured with this crap...

I forgot to say that if the dog is bad in photos - change the dog first.
