Ok, I just got my Bessa R3A today. The camera is in a pretty fine shape and seems to be working nicely. It's just 2,5 years old and I paid 530 euros for it together with VC 40mm F1.4 Nokton Classic lense. Pretty decent price I'd say...

To the point then... I've been so far testing Aperture priority. I quickly browsed through the manual etc but there's one thing that puzzles me for which I didn't find an answer in the manual.

When I half press shutter and get the shutter speed indicated in the middle of the VF (staticly) and I keep half pressing the shutter.. I get 2 other readings in the meter flashing at both sides! I get a "1" flashing on the left and at the same time "2000" flashing on the right and the actual selected shutter speed is statically still in the center. What does this mean?

The manual mentions about getting any one of those at a time but what does it mean having all three???

should have read more carefully..

should have read more carefully..

Mystery solved! I was looking at the wrong place in the manual 🙂 I found the answer, the camera is running out of battery.

Low Batteries are indicated by blinking LEDs at the farthest ends of the shutter speed readout.

As said in the user manual.... So case closed!
