Hi,
I'm really really new to film photography and recently i managed to get a canonet ql17 g-iii. Mechanically and electronically works fine. However i see alot of dust spots in the front lens.
My question is how do you disassemble it? The only grooves i can spot on the front elements are on a silver ring just outside of the black plate with the printed words and a black ring just on the lens. I'm just being careful by improvising 2 precision flat screwdrivers to slot in and turn but no luck. I did the same thing on a yashica electro 35 and it came off pretty well.
Anyone able to advise on how i should try doing it properly on the canonet? :bang:
thanks!
