I have a "new" Tower Type 3, which is a Nicca III, which is a very faithful copy of a Leica III something. The camera appears to be about mint. It is the same bottom loading as a Leica III. My problem is that when I wind beyond the first few frame, the resistance increases to the point that the sprocket holes on the film tear out. I have loaded bottom loaders enough to know how to do it, so I don't think that it is me. Another clue might be that both the cartridge and the take up spool are very tight -- much harder to pull out than my Zorki's or my Leica IIIc. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
