Not a great photo, but I was astounded by the 3-dimensionality. No special post processing done.

Very enjoyable photos!
I think it was Frank P. who once wrote here that Hexar AF was designed to be used fully open and from close range. I've tried to follow that advice. I shot my last roll in daylight using APX100 at ISO 50. Adding a two stop ND to that I dialed in ISO 12 to my Hexar's meter. Never gone so low before ;-)

It's been a while since I've been able to get out to shoot due to work being busy. It's amazing how your photographic eye and desire to photograph evaporates as soon as stress at work ramps up. It should be the other way around, with photography DE-stressing you.

Nice shots once again. I am about to shoot a wedding in the alps of Austria with mainly the Hexar AF.

Beautiful tones, lovely shots. I'm also quite intrigued as to how your project will evolve over time. The BW's have a very nice and rich saturated look to them, excellent work. thread bookmarked.

A short outing today. After seeing the "Toronto" thread, thought I'd do a walk through Kensington Market and Chinatown. As usual, the photos I came back with could have been taken anywhere rather than my planned locale - they don't say "Chinatown" or "Kensington Market". It was just the act of getting out to take photos that was important.
Also managed to drop the Hexar on pavement. Still working.

Fantastic shots—you have a great eye for details. Also managed to drop the Hexar on pavement. Still working.
I dropped one of my Hexars pretty hard onto a concrete tabletop once. Other than a slight nick in the body, it's fine. I think these things are engineered and built well. Well, except for the shutter button of course.

I can only echo the comments of previous posters: excellent series of images and observations. Looking forward to more.

I don't know what it is, whether it is your subjects, composition, the black and white processing or a combination of all of the above, but these images really enthrall me. They make me want to get a Hexar and shoot black and white all day, even though you're converting Superia 200. I like this much more than a lot of other so-called 'street' photography that just ends up looking like random snapshots. Please keep posting!

Amazing! May I ask how you scan your images?

These are just drugstore scans with a bit of tweaking in either ACDSee or Capture NX2. Luckily in Toronto, we have access to $2.99/roll processing and scan to CD. I'll rescan anything good with a Coolscan V to higher resolution.
