Konica Hexar AF Flash problems

Hi,

Have any of you have had problems with the Konica Hexar AF and the flash not willing to fire in A-mode and M-mode ?

My Hexar only detects the flash when in P.Full with P-mode

At all the other options it will not detect it?


Any suggestions?

What kind of flash do you use? I suspect it's the flash, or maybe both in the sense that they don't like each other.

I have two flashes: an auto small flash designed for Fuji GA645, which has no issues at all on my Hexar in M–mode. Another, a Contax TLA360, only fires once on the same Hexar. I need to "reboot" the flash (turning it off and on, or even take it out and back on) in order to have it fire another time.

I forgot to mention that the flash I use is the HX-14 which came with the camera - and it doesn't make any sense that the camera wouldn't detect it?

Do you think it has something to do with the previous owner messing with the GN settings in the camera ?

Or will it maybe help to manually set the GN settings?
