Hi there, hope someone can help me out.
My Hexar AF took a bit of a thump today and has since gone a bit wonky on me. The LCD started flashing "0" at me. Also, the aperture had stopped down to f22 and couldn't be changed and the shutter button wouldn't depress. After reading some threads, I opened the back and found that the film had rewound mid-roll. After taking the film out, everything seemed fine, shutter speeds were showing and the aperture could be changed again.
However, when I try to put a film in, the LCD started flashing "0" at me again and the film will not wind on to frame 1. I've put a fresh battery in, no help, and I've also made sure that the film rewind button is not pushed in.
Is my little Hexar on it's way out??

Hi, I have sold my Hexar, so I cannot check for you. It is a stab in the dark: maybe the Hexar checks for film via a little window using infra-red and something is blocking this little window. A good clean of the film rails area might solve the problem.
Cheers,
Jan
