I enjoy the discussion and interpretation of the event from all parts of the world. It is easy to sit home and just get the US take on things, here we have an opportunity to experience this together. We need more participation from South America, I would love to see support for their power house teams too.
 
We prefer to live our passion on the stadiums and watching the games

Well too bad for Ghana I was hoping they would pull it off! Nice passing and impressive speed. I think they still have a good chance of making it out of this bracket.

The USA team didnt seem like they even wanted to be out there...no hustle. sloppy passing not crisp.

I think the best game so far was the Mexico game!
 
Yeah, liked the Ghanaans, too!

If my clumsy country is off to win something, they are supposed to beat nations like them, and the Italians, the Czech...

Hard times for Germany.

And they deserve it.

It was a great match and I enjoyed it much more than the others so far.. I'm glad that Italy won the match.. the soccer in Italy is going through hard times, and they deserve it as well, may this world cup be a purgatory for their wrong deeds!

I found the Ghanean team really sympathic, fairplay and enthusiastic!

Wow, are you guys good, or what? 173 posts and 1,482 reads with almost no discussion of cameras or photography... and not yet banished to "and now for something different". I'm TOTALLY impressed! Bravo!! Hope you're all enjoying the World Cup as much as you seem to be enjoying it!!
 
Foosball claimed many a college friend of mine. They had great games though. (I guess I am proud to say that I was poor enough at foosball to actually graduate from college.)

Actually, for the record, every time I see a match or coverage of the event on TV there is always someone with a camera in the scene. Now, I can't tell if it is a RF, SLR or what type of camera it is at all. But, I also am fortunate to have XM radio (something to do with my 2+ hours a day in my car) so for the past 4 days I have listened to World Cup coverage almost exclusively. Now, I have not once heard the snap of a shutter on the radio. Assuming that those same people with cameras that I see on TV are near the radio broadcasters it is clear, they are using cameras with super quiet shutters, and they are in Germany. Need I explain further? :D

Just keeping things on the up an up. ;)

Huh? It's incredibly strong and alive in Mexico. Two hosted World Cups (1970 and 1986), as you may already know.
