Let me preface this by saying that this camera works fine, produces fantastic images, etc...
When I wind the advance lever, I hear the normal "tic-tic-tic" advance sound, but about 1/8th of the way through the wind, it does this brief "zszzzz" sound-- sort of like the little toy cars that 'go' when you load up the back wheels.
On top of that, it makes the same noise when I release the shutter. On top of that, when I release the shutter-release on top of the camera, it makes a "PINGGGGG" noise, varying in length and volume based on how abruptly I release the button.
Is all this tic-tic-tic'ing and zszzzzz'ing and PINGGGGGGGG'ing normal, or do I just have a noisy camera that produces fine images? 😛
