I myself will hold off until they come out with the Tom DeLay Commemorative Edition. Part of the Thor Series, no doubt.

I want a sub-forum for vintage hammers !
Don't forget one for Bob Villa, one for Tim Taylor, and another for Evil Power Drills. Which of course will require sub-sub-sub-forums for the different bit alloys.

scratch my niche
I wouldn't buy one without a warranty. I've heard too many stories on the internet about decentered heads, wobbly grips, and outrageous out of warranty service prices.
Plus, you have to factor in the cost of a backup.

Funny stuff.
I'm actually kind of surprised there aren't forums out there for hammers or hand tools. There are forums out there for fountain pens, flashlights, bikes and all kinds of ****. While the analogy used to lambast photo forums is carpenters or painters, maybe a better analogy is music recording, since it is heavily technology based. Jesus, you should check out some of those forums. One of the biggest even acknowledges the gear fetish: gearslutz.com.
