Hmm. Voigtlander at Photokina

Has got to be a faster 25..... a fly on the wall told me not to buy the ZM 25 and just wait a little bit.... you know a couple of weeks or so

Sit tight, I think this is going to be a good one!!!

Clearly, Mr. K could do well to bring his cameras up to the standards of his lenses. I've never owned one but handled one or two and they feel tinny (sp?) or cheesy. The complaints I've seen from owners are too numerous to disregard IMHO.

hmm.

Mr. K likes 35mm. so don't expect other formats or digital.

He also likes to suprise, often with products that have never been made before.

Stephen

Thank you Stephen. (there should be a big thumbs up smiley thing)

It is always good to exersize our minds,

something never made before............😕

I'll be happy with a 43mm lens cap with springs that doesn't constantly seize - I'm on my third cap now and they're all the same.

I can't think of anything I'd want other than a bigger baselength.

Never been done?

Never been done?

How about this, an exchangeable mount Rangefinder or SLR. You have a good body, with meter/shutter/transport/viewfinder, and a exchangable front mount system. Maybe a square section which slide up from the bottom and locks into place, or a deep set twist lock ring system with changable rings. The base body would be thinner then the smallest compatable mount. Then you could build FD, F, M42, Yasica, any kind of mixed system.

The real trick would be the linkages between the lens and body, the body/adapeter/lens links would have to be real simple, maybe just the stopdown link, the whole thing would have to be stopdown metering. But this is only for the SLR.

The Rangefinder would have to have the lens/rangefinder coupling in the adapter, So the lens would couple to the adapter and then the adapter to the rangefinder.

Maybe it would be to hard to pull off...
