Thanks, Ko.Fe. Agreed, at least with regards to the newly developed areas in town.

very nice series. What did you shoot it with?
I agree about cities looking the same but only to the extent that all will have a such a neighborhood. Mainly financial/business/tech districts.

Thanks, Guy. Sure, with the difference that in SE Asia, these developments are implemented at a breakneck speed: its entire neighborhoods, instead of one apartment building at a time. Most of the above pictures were taken with, either a Fuji X-T1 or a Fuji X-H1. Click on the pictures to see the lenses used. Cheers, OtL

Out to Lunch, on Flickr. At the start of the pandemic. We relocated to a house in the suburbs. Our daughter went online for her schooling and we'd leave the house around midnight,
only to water the plants in the downtown house.

Today is one of these days: 36C -a real feel of 41C (105.8F); 52% humidity, and very high UV levels. Everyone is waiting for the rainy season to cool the city down.

Out to Lunch, on Flickr. In the pre-Covid years, Ben Thanh Market transformed from a regular market into a highly profitable tourist market. With the absence of tourists,
most stallholders have had to close their businesses. PS. underneath the deck in the foreground, they are building HCMC's first subway.
