When I use a MF lens, I normally select the focus point manually, zoom in and focus on the subject rather than focus and recompose.

I tend to shoot at large apertures and I'm a slightly paranoid about focus and recompose inducing focus errors because of a change in the camera position.

Yep. 20/1.7 exclusively. I have also tried "legacy" lenses but manual focusing is a pain in the b***. I´d rather use a real camera for that.
