I learned about this site from photo.net. I'm a relative newcomer to rangefinders. I am learning to love them. But as a newcomer, I tend to sit back, read threads, and learn from the ones who have been using them for years. As I feel comfortable, and as I develop areas of expertise I have no problem sharing, but those areas are smaller at this time. Love the site though!

Just some guy, you know?
Number 3326 here. Still around, 'though lately rather quiet. Looks like I joined during a big year for RFF...still a great place to spend some time.
Cheers,

As the old saying goes "it's not the joining but the taking apart."
At least I think that's how it goes ...

At least we all know that I didn't join for the contest. I was here much before that and pretty much left unexpectedly right in the middle of it. I still don't know who won.

Why in God's name is this question necessary? Have you bothered to notice that right at the left side of each posting, it gives the individual's "join date"????

That means September of 2003, three full years.
Happy Anniversary!!

Thanks! My birthday is Sept. 27, and that means a ton more years than this one. (Hint: I'll be four years past Medicare.)

It isn't. Nothing in this forum is necessary. It's one big leisure activity. This thread is for people to talk about how long they've been members and what it means to them.

There should be a 2002 option to catch posers.
