How Long Will It Take?

Being pretty new to range finder cameras I was wondering how long it will take foe me to learn not to put my thumb in front of the viewfinder when shooting in the vertical format? I put three or four rolls through my G1's this past weekend and I had to laugh at how many times I looked through the viewfinder only to see my thumb wrapped around the lens in SLR fashion.

I still do it a bit after 3 odd years, my favorite is when I block the G2 focus system with my fingers then wonder why it wont focus ( cant see fingers in viewfinder but still blocking focus )

Yea, that too! It startled me a couple of times. I raise the camera to focus and all I see is flesh color in the viewfinder and I think ( What tha?) then I realize it's my thumb. HA! Also I have to wipe finger prints off of the view finder frequently. I guess it just takes a little time.

Yep, I've done that with my Keiv cameras and thought to myself, "oh no, something's wrong with this old fsu camera and now I have to get it fixed!"
