I prefer Fenders, but I've got a Gibson SG that I love and a re-worked Danelectro/Silvertone that never fails to inspire me. Here's the Dano:



I love guitars. Haven't been able to play lately, thanks to psoriasis splitting my fingertips open. :mad: So, lately I've been shooting photos more than playing music.

Love this thread. Great how so many of us are guitarists as well. I have 2 M's and now one is permanently in my wife's hands as she has taken over that. She is not on this thread but please add her to your POLL. Here she is with the M4....

it sure would be interesting to see more ladies posting, I absolutely agree, all this testosterone spraying around makes me dizzy at times :D

but wouldn't be a photography forum exclusively for women be just as weird as a photography forum exclusively for men? (it's not like we have to pee in front of each other here.)

I'm sure you're all very emancipated girls, you don't need to stay in the kitchen without the boys.

I don't know any female leica user but I know some female photographers who all use dslrs. Typical for them is that they are not gearheads, they don't suffer from GAS, they don't have the newest equipment and they all think about photos, not gear.
And I don't think I ever heard them using the term bokeh.
 
Someone mentioned lynnb as a female M user... lynnb is a male and uses a DSLR (but still takes good photos). How wrong can you get?

Wide-Open at F2, Fujicolor 200.

Nikki uses the Leica CL.

I find the color with the later Coll. Summicrons, like made after 1955, to be best. Also at F2.
