How many of your friends have an M240? ...

I've met so many photographers and not a single one uses digital Leicas.

All the people I know who loves Leica also loves the Tri-x look, so they shoot film only.

I am in the Camp that likes its Colour Palatte and its B&W rendering.... Silly me

If i shot digi I would choose it over the M Monochrom even though its iso capanilities at night are not as good as the Monochrom ...😉

first let me say that i don't have people over, for dinner or anything else…

i am pleased to note that several of my friends are in a position to afford an m240 but thankfully none have bought one or are the least bit interested in one.
my photo friends are 99% dslr people and a few shoot rf cams and fewer still shoot film.
several are large format folks and some medium format as well.

(That's not as pathetic as it reads, but it's largely true).

But, to the question . . . I personally know no one (other than me !) who ever owned any model of a Leica, or desired to.

Let's see I have an M8 my friend an M8.2 and another friend has a M9 all here in Gallup....we all also have film Leica's.....and a few other friends in town with film Leica's not bad for a little out of the way place...........Bill

I have 15 close friends..and each one..owns.. 1 to 2... m240's..and keeps a few others..as backups...in their..pristine..Leica..cases..
A very popular camera..around here..hahaha!

Ummm... Diverse. Historic. Proper BBQ. Sweet Tea. Mountains. Ocean. Cotton. Peaches. Jeeps. Great weather. Yeah, I guess it is beautiful in its own charming way.

But it is the furthest point on a rough line from NYC to Miami, so ... no hope for an M240!

I have an M240 and two friends also with the camera. It's surprising over here how many of the younger Thai generation (I'm a westerner) also have the camera.
