Reading this thread (http://rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=85448)
reminded me of my first interchangeable RF camera.
One day at the flea market I stumbled upon a filthy Zorki-4
with Jupiter-8 packed in a brown 'ever-ready' leather case.
The seller showed me that the "system" works well and
wanted 150NIS for it.
After some bargaining we settled on 120NIS ($32) and I
got the camera.
When I came home I saw that the camera is not in "tip-top"
shape and the shutter kept on getting stuck, so I disassembled
it and gave it a DIY CLA.
Eventually, I had a good working camera with a nice lens
that gave me very nice pictures. (example 1, example 2, example 3, example 4)
Returning to the M9+Nocti for $18,495.00 - a short calculation
reveals that I can buy about 578 cameras as my old zorki.
How many 50mm-RF of your cheapest systems can you buy with the cost of M9+Nocti?
