Just one--a Bogen Manfrotto 190CXPRO3 Carbon Fiber Tripod with a Markins Q-Ball Q3 Emille Tripod Head. It gets used for the SLR and Medium Format. It is relatively light, but I am thinking about either a Gitzo 0541 or a 1542T for a really short (closed length) and really light tripod. The Bogen is just too much tripod to carry most places, and I think the 0541 might be more likely to come along on day trips. Thoughts?

Manfrotto 055 and 190, with one pan and tilt head shared between them. 190 gets the most use of the two.
Recently got a Manfrotto 690 monopod with 234 head, for traveling. All have quick release plates.
Small Gorilla pod (for LX3). Finally a wobbly plastic tripod which I should really throw away (fits in motorcycle pannier, but think monopod will now be a better option).

Yeah, I am really 4, not 3. Or maybe 5. Leitz Tabletop with small ballhead. Had it for 34 years. It's been around the world a couple of times and still in perfect nick. Next was a Manfrotto 190 aluminium with a pan tilt head. Next was a Manfrotto horizontal arm, which would have been redundant if I got the new 190. And then a Slik CF 614 with a small Slik ballhead. Great little tripod. Next a Manfrotto tabletop, but I have given that to my son. And finally a Monopod, Gitzo traveller 2561T. I was worried that wouldn't open long enough as I am 181 cm, 5' 11", but I will use it a lot sitting and even standing, with the ball head and the camera height, I am not stooping much. Worth it for its compact size for transport.

I own one tripod with a very large, heavy ball-head and one monopod, all Manfrotto products from the previous century.
The tripod is aluminum, and coupled with the enormous ball-head is very heavy and steady, and is invaluable as a platform for holding a coffee cup or gloves in winter while I shoot hand-held.

I have three. My "real" tripod is a Gitzo Explorer. It's pretty much only used with my Hassy. I really only have three tripods if you count my silly little Gorillapod as a "tripod". I must say it comes in quite handy now and then, though (esp when filming review videos). The third tripod is a tiny little Quantaray Digi-Pro that I never use. I guess I should sell it.
I have two monopods (Manfrotto and Benro), but only because I haven't sold one of them.
EDIT: I actually just used the Digi-Pro today for doing a bag review video with my little DLUX4. Needed it for a special angle. Came in handy, and a good size for the little cam. It's a keeper.

I keep picking them up if the price is right(free). One seems to work OK but the rest are old(heavy).Have one thats silver/brass that must have been THE one to have 'way back when' from W.Germany another brass one that is bk/chrome on the o/s brass inside, both have a little ball bearing deal to keep the legs stiff. Two inexpensive table tops and a old 1960's cheeppie. The last is a 90's (late) Kodak-Wally world kind. No special ball head mounts. Use to carry a mono-pod but wore it out. Put a SLR on it and you can feel it slo o o ooly succumbing to either my heavy hand or gravity. Like me, it's getting older.own two.
Used in the last 3 years: none

Are you asking me to clean the attic, basement, garage, car trunk? ;-)
Oh, I have a Manfrotto stashed in Prague if I need one there, so perhaps how many continents do you have tripods on would be the next survey?
Best to keep one in every city and vehicle, hopefully you will use it more often than the jack and spare and who can get anything on a plane these days.
I do have a combination / table top and clamp job that lives in the suitcase, and the Kodak clamp that worked for a 500mm on a sign post out west. The days of two Domke bags of cameras and a large tripod are about gone, unless they are in the trunk of a car.
TNTC as we used to say in Biology.

Two small table top tripods that I carry everywhere, for a compact digital; two mid size (one Slik and another no name) and a huge Kern wooden made teodolite tripod with a pan head on top. I have another wood made Bolex tripod but this one is waiting for time to fix it.

I just seem to accumulate multiple things including tripods. My first tripod as a teenager was a Davidson Star D, three section, no center post, but it had a detachable plate on the head that was big enough to fit under the four lags of a TLR. Best tripod for TLR's I have. Was Star D supposed to sound similar to the word sturdy?
Next came a Focal tripod by Velbon, my most versatile tripod. The center post could be rotated into the horizontal position and three 4X5 Speed Graphics could be mounted on it at the same time. Why would you want to do that? Think. So you could take a color transparency, a color negative, and a B&W negative of the same thing at the same time. Wow! Now don't get tacky on me and ask why you'd want to do that. Besides, I'm telling this story.
My last medium tripod is a Gitzo G201 three section with center post. I have both a Bogen #3025 and 3026 head for it. Surely works smooth.
My only light weight tripod is a nine section Vivitar No. 0196. It stays permanently in my camera bag just in case I need one and am unprepared otherwise.
For table top use I have a very sturdy, wide stance tripod by Polaroid that looks a lot like a Leitz one. Also one labeled Tasco which has spring loaded legs that store in the body and snap out when extended.
Next is my Hama five inch tripod with bendable wire legs and no head.
And last is an amazing little six inch tripod from the Dollar Store. It has two section extendable legs and a ball head, all for a dollar. Even came in different colors as I recall, but very, very light weight.
And now you know more about my tripods than you ever wanted to know!

I just bought a monopod for rail fanning & I love it. I have 2 other tripods. One I can crank to over 6 feet. The other about 5'8" that I can use as a light weight tabletop when needed.

Question for all those '2-3' voters: did you count tabletop, Gorillapods and mini tripods?
Can I change my vote? That puts me in the 8+ category, LOL!
