How much should I ask for?

Okay - this is probably not the best way of doing this as there are vested interests... but here goes.

I'm wanting to sell my CV Nokton 50 mm f/1.5 lens, in the box, with lenscaps, manual etc. Black, some signs of use (brassing), optics seem spotless to me. I also have a CV M adapter ring for 50/75 lenses, again in box with manual. And I'll throw in the cheapy bag I carried the lens in.

Question - how much can I reasonably ask for? I bought the lot from Robert White three years ago and it cost me £269. Checked several sites and magazines but I couldn't find any for sale!

The reason I'm selling it is that ever since getting the 4th generation 35 mm 'cron, I'm not using much else! The Nokton is a superb lens, though: very sharp and the 1.5 aperture is useful for dark places (for which read: the pub!).

If there are interested parties, I can post some pictures once I, my lens and digicam are in the same place. If anyone is around Cambridge and interested, do drop by for a look-see and fondle (stop sniggering at the back).

From memory, the last few Noktons sold in the US on the forum went for $260-300 including post. The last sold from the UK went for £155. As for the adapter I would say £20 or $35. If you do decide to list it here, please put it in the Classified's and not on the CV forum.

Back alley - I checked eBay UK and US and could only find one that's currently for sale, none in the completed auctions. I guess people just don't part with them.
