I use my iPhone camera all the time, because it's the only camera I always have with me. Look at this snapshot while I've been skiing:

There has been heavy fog all day, I thought I'd have no chance for a decent photo. No way I'd have carried a real camera! But my iPhone was with me so I got that shot I really like.

Since it doesn't take 120 film - never! Well - not never. I once used it to take a picture of a box of femine products and send to to my wife for product verification. She was very specific about what type and features - like wings or no wings. It was the only way to be 100% sure. : )

I still use a 3.5 year old Apple iPhone 3G. Not sure what's worst: The image quality? Close-up limitations? or the time it takes to load a camera app. Hmmm...

Pretty frequently. During my workday, it's always with me, where I'd need to go back to my desk and rummage into my pack to break out one of the big guns. It used to be for the intentional lo-fi aesthetic, but the camera in the iPhone 4s is so darn good that it's just fun and quick to grab a snapshot in a moment or as a sketch for a return visit with one of my main cameras. The best camera really is the one that's with you.

I only ever use my phone's camera for taking notes (e.g. If I see an unusual camera I want to research later it's easier to take a photo than to write down the model).

Only once in a blue moon does the camera actually take decent pictures, but then I usually over-process them out of paranoia that they're too low quality.
For example:

I tweaked the colours a bit and sharpened in like crazy, but the original image wasn't all that bad.

Less than I should. The iPhone 4S's camera is very good - I wish everything were a little more responsive (so I could just lift and snap without having to open the camera app and all), but that's not really feasible for a phone.

The aspect ratio feels pretty odd, so I'm a big fan of Instagram. Even though there's no control beyond picking a filter, I tend to find Instagram images more appealing than ones edited with other apps (Snapseed, etc.).

I probably would on occasion if I had one.
I wonder if this forum has a higher concentration than normal of those who do not have one?

My Nokia N8 produce decent pictures. Quality like cheap digital P&S (same sensor size), but with interesting CZ lens and better software with hyperfocal option and manual settings. The best thing on cell phone cameras is weak IR-cut filter. On the other hand i usually have a Tiara mini/ MjuII loaded with HP5 in other pocket ;)
