Wow...this poll really says something about the popularity/re-surgence of RF photography. I was at a local camera shop last week examining a NOS hexar (just for fun), and the saleslady made a funny comment. "I see you do photography the real way...with a rangefinder."
Born during the "brown shoe war". Wish I had had the foresight to ask my dad to liberate some of those fine German camera's, since he was there anyway. But, alas, I have been buying my own cameras since the 1950's (new). Should have kept a few.
Well, I was born in the mid eighties. This generally seems to make me one of the youngest people around who's interested in collecting old gear or shooting fully manual...
Most photographers my age are obsessed with the latest electric toys from Canon and Nikon, to the exclusion of anything in the rangefinder world.
