OOPs !
Autisic glitch makes ''me'' sort-of like a child in a frightening grown up world , which my Leica / zorkis seem to calm a bit ; someone, in the 50s must have let me play with a Leica II or II , 'cos it's real/familiar... ''I'' even seem to be too high/wide/heavy, etc ; like my head is stuck at 6 or so, but a very experienced 6 with many decades trying to copy what adults do ! It still seems unreal having all these grown up toys , but fun too ! So , 6 going on 60.

still 19 for a few weeks, picked up rangefinders shortly after I turned 19, photography a few months earlier.

I was born the same year and month that the Hamilton Watch Company introduced the first electric watch.

I'll be 64 this coming June! Wow! Time really flies doesn't it! Seems like only yesterday I was a kid and had my whole life ahead of me! I must say it has been exciting and I have seen a good portion of the world! I sure have met a lot of interesting and good people in my travels! I am happy to report that of the places I have been I could always find something beautiful about them and some friendly folks! Now that I am retired (as of June the 1st, 2006) I look forward to this forum! This forum is full of good folks who willing share ideas, photos and solutions to problems. Everyone keep up the good work and keep those shutters clicking!

Regards,
Tom Harrell

I'm 44 -- virtually the same age as all of my Leica gear and my Rolleiflex. I am also looking forward to retiring and shooting full time. But putting the kids through college wil delay that a tad ;) .
