Just a heads up if anyone is looking for this lens, I am tempted to bid only because the current bid is so low. Take a look, 120168662328 , on the bay. Could be a bargain!
You realize this means you'll end up having to buy it, unless somebody bids $1 Million on it, right? Or is there a loophole Ich about know kein?endustry said:So, anyway, I bid $999,999.99 on the lens to keep any suckers from being able to actually "buy" it.
😱 I've bid on this item?? I'm more senile than my memory had forgotten to lead me to believe...Windwalker57 said:Current bid is up to $10,999 and a new line has been added to the listing "CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING TO : chosse98@gmail.com AS I WILL CANCEL THE BID." This was not there last time I looked. I suspect Gabriel M A 's bid will be canceled. Also, he requests that you contact him on an offsite email address, bypassing *bay's system.

The postman never offered too or any comment on the lamp. He wanted to talk about an item he'd been looking for on *bay, asking if I had one or could get it for him. I examined the lamp after he left and discovered the irreplaceable glass shade has been broken.ErikFive said:If he broke your lamp, why doesnt he have to pay?
Customer Service in this country is dead.endustry said:So, three days after I spoke with two Ebay reps about this auction and they did nothing to end it despite all of the obvious evidence of fraud, I receive this:
"The following is a notice from eBay Trust & Safety regarding:
Item Number - 120168662328
Item Title - Leica 50mm f1.2 Noctilux Lens,Box,Mint,M2,M3,M4,M5!
Our records show that you placed a bid on this item. We removed this item from the Site and cancelled your bid because it appears that the seller's account has been compromised and used by an unauthorized third party."
