hu! a $575 m3

The M3 arrived today after slightly over two weeks. I will say it's in nice shape with the exception of the vulcanite on the back door. One tiny ding by the strap lug and no real scuffs or scratrches. I placed an order for a new Aki replacement for now and will put better leather on it one day when I deceide. The shutter seems OK and the RF is a little faded but still has good contrast. I think at some point I will get a good CLA for it and spruce it up. It's been about thirty years since I had an M3 and now really appreciate the VF magnification.

I purchased this one (7607901033) last week for $395 including shipping. It arrived today and is better than described. I'm very pleased.

Actually I thought about buying a new top plate and exterior parts from a supplier on evilbay. I've seen raw new parts for a fair price. I thought then I would send it to a gun refinisher for a nice finish. I've had a couple of custom pistols finished in brushed hard chrome and they are stunning. I really cant deceide on wild or brown ostrich and keep the chrome.

Do you know of a place that will refinish a rifle stock? Have a beautiful Browning 22 with a severe scratch!
