I've been outbid but I want somebody here to get it, so they can tell me if it's any good. Three lenses and the body...c'mon, go bid! it's currently at $135.

$135 seems to be high for that camera as it will probably need a CLA which min. $80 plus shipping puts it over $200 mark.

I emailed Karen with a link to that auction item. I don't know if there is anything she can do. Perhaps the seller had permission, but I doubt it, since he did not site photoethnography.

I suspect since he was using Karen's photos it was a bogus auction.

No, no, that's silly. The seller had his own photo, he just added Karen Nakamura's stuff to provide more info. You shouldn't have emailed her--he actually provided a link to her site. I mean, he should have asked her, but why would she want to be burdened with this knowledge? Nobody creates a bogus auction for a $135 camera.

So OK, I still am curious if this camera is any good. If anyone is the person who bought it, please post!

eBay shut down the auction...that usually means a bogus auction or he violated eBay's rules..
