I believe this is shutter bounce, but can I get a second opinion

This is from a M6 titanium made in 1992. It came into my possession a week ago basically unscathed so I am guessing it's been on a shelf for nearly 2 decades.

I've put 3 rolls through it, developed 2 at a lab and 1 myself. They all shared the same problem.
Here's the problem from the test roll I did earlier:

These were all shot at 1/1000s within 10seconds. I also tested this at 1/500 and 1/125 elsewhere, and the bounce was visible.

However, it gets worse, these shots came out beacuse I was shooting consecutively. If I don't use the shutter for around 10mins or so, it will click, but the shutter won't even open and expose the film. So essentially the 1st and 2nd curtains are traveling together. When this happens the shutter visually and audibly moves slower, but doesn't open. Afterward, the shutter will go as normal however will produce results like those above. In the rolls I shot, for around 10 of the shots in each the shutter didn't open.

The problem doesn't seem to exist at 1/60s and below, however this could just be because I'm only using those speeds in already dark environments.

The camera was sold to me as mint and also had a CLA the same month by Will van Manen in the Netherlands were the camera came from. It was supposedly worth $200usd (and thankfully carries a 3 month warranty). But honestly, a $200 CLA missed this problem?

Anyhow, can I get a second opinion on the the problem may be? I am assuming it is shutter bounce, but I don't know if that also applies to the shutters traveling together.

excuse me for the offtopic im no gear expert but I'm a nice looking picture lover and i would really much appreciate it if you told me what film are the last 2 pictures (third row)

Shutter bounce would make one side brighter. I think this is shutter capping, where the slit in the curtain essentialy get closed before the shutter reaches the end of the image.

It was an expired roll of agfa vista 100. All was shot at 1/1000 though, so you can see the shutter timing is actually all screwed up as they should all be the same exposure.

I was under the impression that bounce works both ways. If the second curtain bounces it causes overexposure, if it's the first curtain it will underexpose.

But yeah, you may have hit the nail on the head. Is it a "send it back" job?

if the shutter isn't opening, it's capping of some sort.

I had a problem alot like this with my M2- occasional shutter capping, getting worse if I didn't use the camera for a day or so. I re-lubed pretty much everything, messed with the flatspring for the shutter release, and added a touch of tension to the first curtain... now, things are pretty OK as far as I know. strange thing is, I have no idea what causes the problem!

another thing I noticed: it gets worse if you push the shutter button down slowly.

yeah, it probably needs to be sent in...

I've had capping produce results like those shown, but have not had a bounce problem. Look through the back of the camera with the lens off, will give some indication of capping. If the shutter was bouncing this much, you would see it.

a basic CLA should fix the M6 up. If it was a good price, well worth it to get one with low use.

Yeah it's being sent back, the CLA had a warranty. So it will be redone and sent back to me.

For the price I got the titan at... well it was only barely more than a good used m6 classic. I can't complain.
