i did it!

well, it rained today (still coming down) and it's supposed to rain tomorrow too!!
i feel like screaming i am sooo frustrated!

i tend to shoot a bit of 35 mm or mostly around 85/90. i have never had a 75 so i'm curious about the focal length. i have has 85/90 and 100 mm before and i think that's where my 'vision' lies.
with my mamiya 6 i had the 75 'normal' lens and used it quite a bit so i may be getting more used to the normal view. if i can afford it i may pick up a 50 for the bessa down the road.

Joe, you don't need blue skies to make good photos! Get right out there in the rain and see what you can find to shoot! 🙂

Here's my 75 Heliar in the rain last November...

of course ! 😉

PS: you can put a plastic bag around your camera a UV filter on the lens, rainshooting is really fun !

not a bit richard.
i don't know if that should worry me or make me happy. what it might say about my loyalties/preferences or flexibility.
but i like the bessa and the lenses and am looking forward to the canon p - which if i like it as much as i think i will - might become my #1 camera.

i do admit that i like the 'look' of medium format negs and prints and that 35 will likely never replace that. but i also admit that i have not wanted to carry a camera with me at all times for years and now i am never without one.
the bessa did that!
