I have a Mamiya 7 and 7II. Up until yesterday, I have always used 120 film in them. Yesterday when I was in the middle of something, I put a roll of 220 into the 7II without changing the camera to 220. Will I have to waste half of a roll? Right now I stopped at #7. Any advice? I know it isn't the end of the world if I loose half of a roll of film, but I'd like to know for future reference.

Yep, it will stop counting when the 120 length is over...

If the Mamiya is as other cameras, your film won´t be as flat, the pressure plate will be applying a little less pressure than the 220 would warrant, it being thinner than 120.

Thanks for the help. I will open it up and switch it and hope for the best for the rest of the roll.

I opened it and switched it with no problem. Now the counter is back to S, so I might loose a shot or two.

Good deal, Cindy. Let us know how it works out.
I've got a ton of 220 in the fridge myself - that I can ONLY use with the 7II (I don't have an A24 back for the Hassy). Whee.
Poor baby! ....thanks a ton for your help and moral support.
