I have Voigtlander envy again

I have an M3 with a Leica Super Angulon 21/3.4 and a Chrome Rigid "cron (50/2) which I love. One of my best friends owns a Nikon D5100 with kit zoom, but he got the Rangefinder bug from yours truly. He called me and I went over to his house. Damn!! He got a CV R4M black with a CV 21/4 and a R3M Black with a Heliar 50/2. Oh gosh how sweet!!!

The R4 series Bessas are nice and the M is the better looker IMO. I had an R4A and the flat black finish was so flat it was almost chalky. If you're a wide shooter it doesn't come any better than the R4* but I could never understand why the two different finishes!

I also had an R4A and regret selling it. Who needs a Leica 0.58 mag when the R4 does it properly?

I have the R4m and 21mm zm 2.8... It's a magic combo! I think the finish is nice enough but I want to get rid of the rubber rip and replace it with some leather. Also the shutter could be quieter...
