Hi Chandler,

...
I am a newbie in rangefinder just got pre-owned M9 for less than a month, still struggling with low light shot here a pix and comment are welcome (so I can improve along the way). I getting to like M9 more and more.
...

Thanks!!
i'm sure you will improve very quick if you keep shooting with rangefinder. :)

@ Chandler--

Excellent use of the 21 SA on the M9.

Did you 6 bit code the lens? If so, as what? Or do you enter a manual code via the camera menu, if so, as what?

What is your PP for color images with the SA from the M9, specifically, the red fringing?

Thanks in advance,

Hi JSU,

Thank you!! to answer your question:

1. I manually set lens profile to "21 f/2.8 11134".
2. for the color shift, i use Lr "DNG Flat Field Plug-in" and choose "Color correction only".

here is the example for the effect:

1. untouched RAW to JPG

This is among the best color images I've seen from a M9 & 21/3.4 SA.

Now I have to get busy and refine my own technique. I have to admit I bought a 21 Elmarit ASPH specifically because I didn't believe I could reasonably use my 21/3.4 SA with a M9 for color.

Thank you for sharing your technique and all your M9 images!

w/ sa21
