I miss my T4, looking for a new compact

Low light is of no priority to me. I want to make Jurgen teller type fashion and artsy photos. Always models in fashion, that's why the flash is important. No silly light fill in flash but a decent.

Thanks for the explanation.
I have no idea what to think about this camera.
The reason I brought it up is because I got not one, but *two* of them thrown in along with a Leica R deal recently.

I've never seen a P&S that has Elmar (or any other Leica lens name) before. After seeing the pictures on flickr and yours above, I think I'll put in a roll and see what comes out! :D
 
I was looking at this thread when a colleague dropped in and asked me what i was reading. He knows a bit about photography and was intrigued by my fierce loyalty to the Mju-II. He now wants one too... He hasn't shot film in ages.

The Pentax might have the best flash, then. The Leica flash was OK, but I never used the flash on the mju.
 
That's nice! Do you perhaps have some examples of the Espio Zoom full macro 35-70?
Because the Leica mini is only availably from Brussels and I already put down an agreement for the Espio and the Mju II..
 
I feel your pain. The winding mechanism on my T4 refuses to rewind a full roll now (although it pretends to which tricks me into opening the back and exposing the film). Seriously considering sending it to Japan to have the lens removed and inserted into a Leica mount.

I think there is something distinctive about the color and out of focus areas of the T4 lens that makes it much nicer than most of it's competition. Although maybe I'll pick up a Muji II and see how it goes.
 
There's a Rollei Prego 90 just landed on the UK bay for £25 delivered. It's got the schneider kreuznach lens on it which I have read previously is the better of the two. The other being the Vario Apogon. I've got two and paid more than that for each of them. They are cracking camera's.

Thanks, I nabbed it. Been looking for one at a reasonable price. Now I will be selling my Prego 70.
 
I've read lens name changed, design and materials not. Something related to law offices. Mine has Schneider lens and it's great.

Well I've read that also, but I did read a few years back someone had both and claimed the Schneider lens gave better results. But, who knows? Could have been psychological - as in, all in the head. Either way, both mine have Schneider lenses and they are great.

p.s One of mine is a databack version, which is why I have two. Although having a backup is also useful!
