I need feedback from everyone. (Classifieds)

Jorge - Since I have made only one purchase from the old RFF Classified system, and it went smoothly, I have little to add to what has been said. I feel the new positioning of the Classified thumbnail photos at the bottom of the page allows me to keep in touch with what is being posted for sale without much initiative on my part. For what it is worth, I like it.

Hi...
Mike here, quoting Alkis, above...

I'm an avid eBayer, having made 40 purchases in 2 years, of mostly PC peripherals & photo stuff. In 90+% of my purchases, the product was as advertised, and the shipping was satisfactory. I would recommend for RFF:
- eBay type Feedback system
- option of return of item, if not as advertised.

In ANY purchase, however, there is the element of Caveat Emptor; Let the Buyer Beware.

Furtther, it's important for advertisers to learn that advertising in RFF is a privalege. If the privalage is abused, then the advertiser's ability to Sell on RFF can be revoked!.
Hope ths helps some,
Mike

Too complicated. Unless there is an incentive to have a classifieds section I would drop it. Let members notify the other members of sales on Ebay sure, but to take on the headache of dealing with complaints, uh huh. Life is too short, Jorge!
My 2 cents worth.
Wright - or wrong

Since you ask Jorge. It's kind of frustrating to find some gear you have been looking for only to discover after opening the ad that it's already been sold. Maybe those ads could be sent to a sold section once there no longer available.

Caveat Emptor indeed. Stick a bit of a disclamer at the top. Too many complaints dump the member. Same as any other abuse.
Keep it simple for yourself if it's just a convienence for members.
