Well, that's not much of a value. The same seller is offering M7 #3000000, originally presented to Sabastiao Salgado, for only $130,680, and for that you get a camera and some lenses!

Makes a Nikon D3X seem like the value of the century.

Mr Salgado must have run onto hard times.

The price is ridiculous as you say, but it may be better to express the humor in it, rather than the scorn. You may find that the administrators of this fine forum may frown upon such derision. That's all. Anyway... about that hood! 😉

He's going to replant a rainforest with the proceedings (read the letter in the auction listing).

I briefly considered remortgaging the house and farm to pay the $130 000 + for the M7 (I am looking for a back-up shooter, as it were). But then I thought I'd just scuff it up against another brick wall. The way I go through cameras they'd have to resurrect Fanny Mae to finance my photography just into the next decade at those prices. Thank God there are other dealers besides Arse 'n All (very appropriate spelling, by the way, and boo to the detractors).
