No Get Well cards please
i can't find any reference to the release date for the 14mm lens... especially here in Oz... anyone got any ideas? hanging...

B&H has the lens listed as available on the 23rd Nov. So far, the Australian retailers have been telling me exactly the same time frame. I think Fujifilm is synchronising their release.
Ted's Camera and Digidirect have both said it is available end of Nov to early Dec, in line with B&H's indicated time. It was supposed to be first week of Nov but it is delayed.
Digidirect said the initial shipment to Australian retailers will be very small. I have already ordered mine.
Ted's has it listed for $999 (only after I told them such lens actually exist....) and Digidirect has it for $899.

Does ANYONE have a heads up on a review of this sucker? Im in bad need of a lens and Im creamin' for one of these.. But I really want to see some examples of it before I plunge and empty the money sack all over it..

I am also really wanting one. I have been shooting landscapes with the 35 and wish for something wider for more sky :bang:Good things come to those who wait I guess!

just rang digitalcamerawarehouse.com.au and they will have it at A$919.. ordered it, should be in end of next week they say. yay.

Just a quick update on what is happening for anyone who is eagerly awaiting the arrival of this lens. The status of this lens has changed from "Pending" to "Awaiting supplier delivery".

Yodobashi Camera in Japan says "first half of December". They are usually quite right and one of the first to get new cameras. For example, the RX1 has been for sale there since the 16th (which they predicted).
